Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Production Cook to prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold dishes for all meals and events. The role emphasizes safety, speed, and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen, with a focus on adhering to culinary standards and maintaining a clean workstation.

Responsibilities include following recipes, estimating quantities, and ensuring timely service. Open availability preferred; benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current standards to ensure high-quality food service.
• Follow basic recipes and directions for preparing, cooking, and serving meals.
• Estimate food requirements and plan production accordingly.
• Walk, stand, and perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Attend shifts on time; perform duties as assigned.
