Job summary

Jones Dairy Farm is seeking a Culinary Solutions Chef to provide culinary and sales support for ingredient and national account sales. You will consult on product and menu concepts, assist with customer development, and present corporate programs while helping meet sales and profitability targets.

The role emphasizes collaboration with customer culinary teams and cross-functional sales, with significant travel and a strong focus on negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent and formal culinary education.
• 2–4 years of sales experience; meat/perishable food background preferred.
• 3–5 years of culinary experience at operator or corporate level; product development a plus.
• Excellent negotiation, oral and written communication, and closing skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) and strong culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer network, provide sales and culinary support and training.
• Efficiently handle product claims and complaints while maintaining relationships.
• Achieve volume, trade spending and profitability goals with accounts.
• Provide up‑to‑date competitor information.
• Collaborate with Ingredient/National Account Sales Manager on selling efforts.
• Work with customer culinary teams on product projects and new item development.
• Travel up to 75% to support accounts.
• Suggest policy and procedure improvements to enhance department effectiveness.
