Job summary

Fiorella's Jack Stack Barbecue in Overland Park, KS is seeking a dedicated line cook to support our culinary team. You will follow recipes, prep ingredients, keep stations organized, and help ensure food quality and safety for every guest.

This fast-paced role requires strong teamwork, the ability to multitask, and a proactive attitude. You’ll contribute from prep to plating, while maintaining sanitation standards and assisting with guest-focused catering and events.

Qualifications

• Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
• Keep food properly stored, rotated, labeled and organized.
• Prepare and maintain food levels based on guest needs.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Stand and lift up to 50 pounds during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization as part of the culinary team.
• Support the culinary team to ensure smooth operations and consistent service.
• Contribute to guest experience by delivering quality and consistency.
