Job summary

Archway Management seeks a Food Service Director to lead and coordinate the Culinary and Nutritional Services in our community, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements while delivering nutritious, appealing meals daily.

You will supervise the staff, manage menus and inventories, collaborate with Nursing and Maintenance, and oversee safety, quality, and catering for events, with a strong emphasis on resident satisfaction and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and directs the Culinary and Nutritional Services Department and its activities.
• Directs the entire staff and ensures menu planning follows standard recipes.
• Maintains stock levels and manages purchasing and inventory to keep supplies adequate.
• Ensures residents’ nutritional needs are met and services are safe and sanitary.
• Coordinates services with Nursing, Maintenance, Housekeeping and other departments.
• Plans and executes catering needs and special events.
• Responds to residents and staff concerns and maintains confidentiality.
