Job summary

Health Dimensions Group, Inc is seeking a Culinary Director / Culinary Manager to lead the dining team for our residents, shaping menus, ensuring safety and high-quality meals, and partnering with the Registered Dietitian to meet nutritional needs.

You will supervise cooks and aides, manage budgets, coordinate special events, and support residents’ dietary preferences with compassion in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• CDM certification or eligible to sit for the exam.
• Completion of an accredited nutrition services or food service management program (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years in institutional food service management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the culinary department including menu planning, food prep, staffing, and budgeting.
• Create seasonal and therapeutic menus tailored to residents' tastes and dietary needs.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, cleanliness and resident satisfaction.
• Lead and develop culinary staff through coaching, feedback, and formal training.
• Coordinate food service for special events, holidays, and themed programs.
