Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Culinary Director for our Lincoln, NE community. This role oversees culinary operations across independent living, assisted living, and memory care, focusing on high-quality meals, staff leadership, and strategic menu planning.

The director will manage budgeting, safety compliance, and continuous improvement to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents while maintaining cost controls and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a commercial kitchen.
• Current Food Safety Manager's permit or equivalent.
• Ability to compute recipes and costing.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises culinary department including menu planning, supplies, and food production.
• Hire, train, and supervise Culinary associates; promote retention and development.
• Oversee purchasing, cost control, inventory, and budgeting for food service.
