The role emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork, and hands-on training, with a part-time schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays. ServSafe certification is preferred or training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in the culinary field.
• Experience with persons with developmental or other disabilities preferred.
• Excellent confidentiality and communication skills.
• Patience and ability to handle interruptions while assisting participants.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Support participants in achieving personal goals.
• Document program notes and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and CARF regulations.
• Assist in handling petty cash for events when needed.
