Job summary

Verizon seeks a Distinguished Engineer to define the technical trajectory for the Hyperscaler Segment. You interface with top-tier accounts (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta) and lead cross-functional teams to close monumental deals, including ULH Dark Fiber and ILA infrastructure.

You will mentor the Principal Sales Engineering team, drive operational excellence, and push AI-enabled route analysis and pricing; success requires CTO-ready executive presence and a strong record of revenue-driven

Qualifications

10+ years in Sales Engineering or Network Architecture.
Experience with Tier-1 hyperscalers or complex enterprise accounts.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Define CTO-level strategic technical direction for hyperscaler accounts.
Lead cross-functional tiger teams to close complex deals.
Engineer SOPs for undocumented products in DF/ILA spaces.
Drive AI-driven automation to speed responses.
Mentor the technical talent pipeline within the Principal Sales Engineering org.
Manage high-stakes RFPs and align strategy with business goals.
Maintain expertise in inventory and mapping tools (NIDR, Salesforce) for feasibility analysis.
