Job summary

Johnston County Public Schools, Corinth Holders High School, seeks a CTE Instructional Support Specialist to strengthen teaching and learning in CTE through coaching, real-time curriculum support, and coordinated services for students in special populations.

The role focuses on removing access barriers, addressing opportunity gaps, and ensuring compliant CTE assessment practices while supporting district curricula and professional development.

Qualifications

• Eligible to obtain either the 770 Special Populations Coordinator (SPC) license or the 830 Curriculum and Instructional Management Coordinator license.
• A current, continuing professional license in either a CTE program area, exceptional children’s education, school counselor at the G level, curriculum instructional specialist, instructional technology specialist, or school administrator.
• Minimum of five years of related work experience in CTE teaching, special education, school counseling, or career development coordination.

Responsibilities

• Services to CTE Special Populations: create and monitor individual service plans for students within special populations.
• Provide CTE teachers with timely information about students, including Accommodations At-A-Glance.
• Facilitate collaboration among CTE teachers, case managers, EC, multilingual staff, 504 teams, counselors, and others to support accommodations, modifications, and transition services.
