Job summary

Maricopa County Community College District (Rio Salado College) seeks a Student Services Specialist (S specially Funded) to advance CTE enrollment and completion. You will engage with prospective and current students through calls, emails, texts and in-person outreach, guiding them through admissions, residency verification, and academic planning.

The role partners with high schools and MCCCD departments to schedule courses, manage enrollment events and track outcomes, ensuring a smooth student

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution, and one year full-time of student services or college teaching experience or experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, customer service, or related student development programs.

Responsibilities

• 40% - High-touch outreach and recruitment for prospective and current students via phone, email, text and in-person visits to partner high schools.
• 25% - Build relationships with high school counselors, administrators and CTE instructors to plan course lists, oversee enrollment events and report on student progress.
• 25% - Coordinate tasks across departments (Student Business Services, Admissions and Records, Testing, faculty) to support enrollment, grading, and program updates.
• 10% - Perform other office duties including data entry and coverage as needed.
