Job summary

Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) seeks a Student Services Specialist to provide comprehensive enrollment services to new and returning students. You will work with the Contact Center, Welcome Desk, Admissions, Records & Registration teams, supporting testing, advising, financial aid, veterans’ services, and international student services across multiple channels.

The role emphasizes data management in CRM/SIS, collaboration on special projects, and occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree and one year of student services or college teaching experience, or related coordination/financial aid experience.
One year of customer service with significant public interaction.
Experience in admissions, records, registration, advisement, or financial aid roles.
Experience using student services systems (PeopleSoft, Salesforce/ASSIST, Cranium Cafe).
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
One year of MCCCD experience within the previous two years.

Responsibilities

Provide enrollment services to prospective and current students across admissions, testing, registration, financial aid, veterans' and international programs via multiple channels (in-person, phone, chat, text).
Collect, enter, verify, and maintain student data in CRM/SIS and related systems; review applications and request documents as needed.
Support team operations, train staff, and provide evening coverage; participate in cross-functional committees and backup One Stop staff.
Assist with enrollment-related projects and deliver presentations as required.
