Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CT technologist to perform CT exams, verify orders with radiologists, and ensure patient safety and comfort. You will participate in holiday and on-call rotations and maintain strict radiation safety protocols.

The position requires ARRT/NMTCB CT certification within one year of hire and BLS; the shift covers evenings and weekends in a full-time capacity. Benefit packages and on-site facilities are provided.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and coordinate with Radiologist on discrepancies.
• Identify patients and explain procedures before exams.
• Review EMRs to collect medical history and correlate results.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and operate radiology computer systems.
