Advocate Health is seeking a CT technologist in Charlotte, NC. The role involves performing CT scans, obtaining patient consent, and coordinating with radiologists to ensure accurate results. Formación
- ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
- BLS certification required.
- Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
Responsabilidades
- Examine requests and verify orders; refer queries to Radiologist when needed.
- Identify patients and explain procedures, prepare and document on worksheets.
- Interview patients for medical history; review EMRs for pertinent history.
- Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist during procedures.
- Maintain radiation safety and report equipment issues.
- Rotate shifts, including weekends; adhere to attendance policy.
- Operate radiology computer system; document contrast administration.
