Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient population served.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners and related equipment with proficiency.
• Verifies orders and contacts Radiologist if there are discrepancies.
• Prepares patients and documents procedures accurately.
• Maintains radiation safety and uses two patient identifiers for each exam.
• Rotates shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends.
