Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a CT Technologist for a 40-hour workweek. The role includes 4x10 hour day shifts with on-call and holiday requirements for CT imaging and contrast administration.

The candidate will verify orders, perform CT exams, ensure patient safety, and document procedures. ARRT/NMTCB CT registry within 1 year and BLS are required; sign-on bonus is eligible.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient. Refers and questions orders to the Radiologist before performing exam.
• Properly identify patients and assist while explaining procedures. Prepares patients for the procedure and documents on appropriate worksheets.
• Interviews patients for medical history. Reviews EMRs to obtain pertinent clinical history and records it on requisitions.
