Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in accordance with department standards. You will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and document procedures while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB CT certification with BLS, and will involve nights (Wed/Thu/Fri, 7p–7a) within a 36-hour work week. A sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program with CT knowledge.
• ARRT Radiology certification or NMTCB CT certification required within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders for each patient.
• Operates CT scanners and related equipment with proficiency.
• Prepares patients and explains procedures.
• Administers IV contrast as per protocol and documents usage.
• Evaluates image quality and discusses findings with Radiologist.
• Rotates shifts including nights and weekend coverage.
