Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Northeast Ohio is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to join our night shift CT team.

You will produce quality CT images, assist with CT-guided biopsies and other procedures, manage patient scheduling, and educate patients about procedures. Requires ARRT, CT credential within one year, Ohio license, and BLS; cross-training and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Work under stress with minimal supervision and collaborate with the CT team.
