Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT to join our Level One Trauma Center in Northeast Ohio. The position involves producing quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Requires ARRT CT credential or within 1 year, Ohio Radiographer license, BLS, and graduate from an accredited program. The shift is nights, 5x12hr shifts every two weeks, with every other Sunday and a biweekly 60-hour

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images for inpatients and outpatients.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Coordinate scheduling and documentation for imaging studies.
• Maintain safety and follow ARRT guidelines during all procedures.
