Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging as part of the radiology team. The role requires ARRT CT credential or progression toward it and an active Ohio Radiographer License, with BLS.

The technician will contribute to cross-functional patient care and imaging accuracy. You will work nights on a 5x12 schedule with biweekly hours totaling 60, providing critical CT services for trauma, stroke, and cancer patients in a Level One setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registration with CT credential or within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.
• One year related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging and positioning to produce diagnostic-quality scans.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and preparation for inpatient and outpatient CT exams.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and what to expect to maintain comfort and understanding.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other care team members to deliver safe imaging services.
