Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Northeast Ohio is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join our CT team. The role includes producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures such as biopsies and drain placements, and educating patients about procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registered with CT credential or willing to obtain within a year, hold an Ohio

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Schedule and coordinate for inpatients and outpatients CT exams.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other care team members within the CT team.
