Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to perform diagnostic imaging during night shifts. You will participate in CT-guided procedures, coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients, and educate patients about procedures to maintain comfort and understanding.

Requirements include ARRT CT credential within one year of employment, Ohio Radiographer License, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registered radiology technologist.
• ARRT CT credential required within one year of employment.
• Ohio Radiographer License valid (ODH).
• AHA BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging.
• Assist CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about CT procedures and equipment to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
