Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH, seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join a night-shift team. You will acquire high-quality CT images, assist with biopsies, drain placements and tumor ablations, and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients.

Must be ARRT-certified with CT credential (or within one year) and hold an Ohio Radiographer license; BLS certification is required or obtained during probation. Cross-training available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
