Job summary

Join our Radiology Department at MetroHealth as a CT Technologist. The role performs CT imaging, assists with CT guided procedures, and coordinates patient scheduling for both inpatients and outpatients. Cross-training is available and encouraged.

The position requires ARRT certification (CT preferred) and Ohio radiographer licensure, with willingness to cross-train and work 4x10hr shifts between days/evenings at the MetroHealth Medical Center in the Greater Cleveland area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• On-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication while working under stress.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT Team.
