Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures per department protocols and operate scanners with high proficiency. The role includes patient prep, history review, and coordination with Radiologists to ensure accurate results.

The position requires ARRT/ NMTCB CT certification within one year, BLS, and willingness to rotate shifts, including weekends. A sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB CT certification required; ARRT CT registry within 1 year.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program.
• Ability to rotate shifts including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with Radiologist before exam.
• Identify patient and explain procedures; prepare patient for exam.
• Review medical history and correlate lab data with exam.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety throughout the procedure.
• Operate radiology computer system for orders and charging.
