Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a CT Technologist I to join the Union CT department in Charlotte, NC area. This is a part-time role with weekend/evening coverage and requires ARRT or NMTCB certification within one year of hire, plus BLS.

The position involves patient prep, IV contrast administration, image quality evaluation, and collaboration with Radiologists to ensure accurate, timely results. A sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic or NMTCB program.
• ARRT radiology or NMTCB CT certification required within one year of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders; refer to Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Identify and assist patients; explain procedures and document details.
• Interview patients; review EMRs for clinical history and record on requisitions.
• Own exam from start to dictated results; ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per protocol; record contrast details as needed.
• Evaluate image quality; consult Radiologist for abnormalities and additional imaging.

Education

Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program

ARRT radiology or NMTCB CT certification within 1 year

BLS certification required
