Job summary

107 The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking a CT Technologist I for weekend evenings and part-time support. The role requires operating CT scanners, verifying orders with radiologists, and ensuring patient safety with strict radiation procedures.

The position offers a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a 24-hour weekly schedule, with weekend shifts. ARRT radiology certification and CPR are required, with additional CT registry within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment per department protocols.
• Verify patient orders and confirm with Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and prepare them for procedures.
• Document medical history and correlate with EMR data.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety standards.
