Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The role requires anatomy knowledge, ARRT credentials, and strong communication under pressure. The position emphasizes education of patients, collaboration with nurses and physicians, and the ability to work independently or within a CT team in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Neuro, MSK, abdominothoracic, and cardiac anatomy
• IV starts
• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings
• Assisting with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort
• On the spot critical thinking
• Effective communication skills
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision
• Works well both independently and as part of the CT Team

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images across diverse settings.
