MetroHealth is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to join our CT team in the Radiology Department. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The successful candidate will hold ARRT CT credential, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification; cross-training opportunities and sign-on bonus up to $15,000 are available for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsabilités

• Produce high-quality CT images in varied clinical settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and flow for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exam procedures to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Provide teamwork with CT staff, Nurses, Physicians, and Respiratory Therapists.
