Job summary

Join the MetroHealth Radiology Department as a CT Technologist. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients in a dynamic hospital setting.

The role emphasizes patient education, critical thinking, and strong communication within a multidisciplinary team. Prior ARRT CT credential and Ohio licensure are required or in process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• AR RT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• On-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication with the care team.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
