MetroHealth is hiring a CT Technologist to support the Radiology Department. You will produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures such as biopsies and drain placements.

The role involves patient scheduling, equipment education, and coordinating care for inpatients and outpatients. You will work with a CT team in a busy hospital setting, handling stressful situations with professional composure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsabilités

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Performs on-the-spot critical thinking and maintains composure under stress.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
