Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to support the CT team in a busy inpatient and outpatient setting. The role emphasizes producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, scheduling and coordinating patient care, and educating patients on procedures and equipment.

Strong anatomy knowledge, ARRT CT credential, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS are required. Cross-training and a sign-on bonus enhance the opportunity for growth within our network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist required.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in various settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations.
• Schedule patients and coordinate for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
