Job summary

MetroHealth's Radiology Department seeks a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients. You will educate patients on procedures, ensure safety and accuracy, and collaborate with radiologists and nurses in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires ARRT registration (CT credential within a year), Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• On the spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress; work with CT Team.
