MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging to join the radiology team. Responsibilities include producing CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Cross-training is provided and you will work closely with nurses, physicians, and other care team members. The role requires ARRT registration, CT credential within a year, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsabilidades

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
