Job summary

Join the MetroHealth Radiology Department as a CT Technologist. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist in CT-guided biopsies and tumor ablations, and coordinate patient flow for inpatients and outpatients.

We value anatomy knowledge, ARRT CT credentials, Ohio licensure, and BLS certification. You will work in a dynamic team with nurses, physicians, and technologists to deliver safe, accurate imaging in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and transfer for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team, collaborating with nurses and physicians.
