Job summary

Join the MetroHealth radiology team as a CT Technologist. You will produce diagnostic CT images, support CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient flow for inpatients and outpatients while educating patients about the process.

The role requires ARRT credentials, Ohio radiographer licensure, and BLS; cross-training is offered within a busy trauma-focused department in Northeast Ohio. Competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Performs patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
