Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and deliver a high-quality imaging experience for patients. You will work within a collaborative radiology team, ensuring safety and accuracy while following ALARA guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent plus an accredited radiologic technology program and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with ARRT certifications and BLS.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, capturing quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA principles.
• Disinfect and prepare rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure consent.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
