Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and provide a safe, high-quality patient experience. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure diagnostic image quality, and maintain ALARA principles while supporting a collaborative care team.

The role requires an accredited radiologic technology program completion, ARRT-CT certification, and at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R (Radiography)
• ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and adjust techniques to minimize dose (ALARA).
• Disinfect, clean and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and post-care using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and complete documentation in RIS/PACS.
