Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and provide supportive patient care. You will perform CT procedures, maintain safety, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include ARRT CT and Radiography credentials, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. You will use RIS/PACS, adhere to ALARA, and assist with patient education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and minimize radiation dose (ALARA).
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Prepare and position patients with appropriate shielding and markers.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and finalize exams.
