Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and provide a supportive patient experience. You will join a collaborative care team and work in a fast-paced radiology department in Cobb County, GA.

Responsibilities include performing CT procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment with adherence to ALARA. A Radiologic Technology program completion and ARRT certifications are required, along with BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and minimize dose per ALARA.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Document results promptly in RIS/PACS and manage equipment for daily use.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Assist with room turnover, infection control, and supply replenishment.
