Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and support a positive patient experience. You will perform CT exams, ensure diagnostic quality while minimizing dose, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certifications and BLS are required or expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines with ALARA principles.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Obtain clinical history and verify patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures clearly and address patient questions.
• Documentation in RIS/PACS and ensure studies are finalized correctly.
• Monitor patient condition and assist in emergencies as needed.
• Maintain room cleanliness and restock supplies; assist with workflow.
