St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to performComputed Tomography procedures and radiographs with a strong focus on patient safety and quality imaging.

You will work within the Imaging area (CT and Radiology) and support efficient patient throughput while upholding professional standards. The role requires ARRT Radiology and CT certification, a Texas radiologic technologist license, and at least one year of CT experience, with Basic Life Support within 30 days of

Qualifications

• Graduate of an educational program in radiology approved by JRCERT or AMA.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Texas state radiologic technologist license and ARRT radiology certification.
• ARRT CT certification required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and radiographs per ARRT standards.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Coordinate imaging services in CT and Radiology; monitor throughput and staffing needs.
• Maintain equipment knowledge and participate in training and in-services.
• Communicate relevant patient information to physicians; observe life-support requirements.

Education

Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology

Licensed by Texas Department of State Health Services as Medical Radiologic Technologist

Certified in Radiology by ARRT

Certified in CT by ARRT

Post-primary CT certification within 6 months

One year of CT Tech experience

Graduate of JRCERT/AMA approved Radiologic Technology program

Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days
