Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is hiring a Lead CT Technologist to manage day-to-day clinical, technical, and operational CT operations. You will ensure patient safety, quality control, and policy compliance across the department, with oversight of staff performance and CQI activities.

The role requires completing policies and procedures, coordinating with Radiologists, and ensuring timely, high-quality scans for all age groups while maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of CT technologist experience in acute care.
• Five years CT experience with supervisory preference.
• Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology program and CT coursework.
• Current MRT license with Texas Medical Board and ARRT CT certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce scans of diagnostic quality across neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Follow established CT protocols and operating procedures.
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment efficiently and safely.
• Complete timely quality scans and manage workflow for STAT cases.
• Demonstrate trauma and challenging-case proficiency and adjust positioning as needed.
• Document findings, assess patient records for allergies and pregnancy status.
