Job summary

Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, part of Methodist Healthcare System, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging, ensure patient safety, and manage imaging operations within the Radiology department.

The role requires an Associate Degree and ARRT-R Radiography certification, with BLS within 30 days of employment. You will work with Meditech, Dosewatch, and various CT equipment while maintaining clean, well-stocked CT rooms and delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed radiologic technologist with ARRT or equivalent certification.
• Associate degree required; state licensure as applicable.
• Basic life support (BLS) within 30 days of start date.
• Experience in radiology/CT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in CT imaging, positioning, prep, and factors for CT systems.
• Operates Radiology Imaging System and Meditech for scheduling, tracking, and charges.
• Provide care across neonate to geriatric patients; ensure safety and crisis response.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of CT rooms; restock supplies as needed.
• Work independently and as part of a team; follow safety policies and procedures.
• May assist with radiopharmaceuticals and cross-train in department functions.
