Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to join its Imaging team in Texas. The CT Tech coordinates CT and radiology services, ensuring efficient patient throughput and optimal use of equipment and staff resources in a busy hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have an radiologic technology degree and ARRT CT certification, with 1–2 years of CT experience preferred. A commitment to patient care and safety is essential, along with on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in Radiologic Technology.
• Graduation from JRCERT or AMA approved radiology program or equivalent military training.
• Current ARRT certification and CT post-primary within 6 months of hire; BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiographic procedures.
• Operate CT scanner and related equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Document exam findings on film or in writing.
• Relay relevant patient information to physicians.
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize patient and staff risk.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule.
• Support other areas of the department as needed.
