Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and ensure ALARA dose principles.
• Prepare and disinfect rooms and equipment and report issues promptly.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and use two identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and complete final documentation in RIS/PACS.
