Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will join a collaborative care team and ensure exams are performed safely, with attention to dose optimization and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology or CT imaging preferred.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT certifications and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines and maintain image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and ALARA standards.
• Disinfect rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and reduce patient anxiety.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS accurately.
