Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to apply their imaging expertise to deliver safe, high‑quality CT exams and a compassionate patient experience.

As a valued member of a collaborative care team, you will uphold ALARA principles, document procedures in RIS/PACS, and support department workflow while advancing your career through education funding and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required with completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT credentials preferred and BLS certification may be required.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain low-dose exposure (ALARA).
• Prepare and disinfect rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and anxiety.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/recalls.
