Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures with a focus on patient comfort and diagnostic image quality. You will operate imaging equipment safely, adhere to ALARA guidelines, and document results in RIS/PACS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications; CPR/BLS current.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and apply ALARA principles.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Document findings and maintain accurate records in RIS/PACS.
• Maintain room cleanliness and restock supplies; assist with emergencies.
