Qualifications

• Education High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Experience Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology Required
• Certifications ARRT-R (Radiography)
• ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure diagnostic image quality
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA principles
• Maintain room/equipment cleanliness and report issues promptly
• Verify orders and patient identifiers before exams
• Explain procedures clearly using AIDET and address patient questions
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit
• Administer contrast per protocol and use sterile technique
• Position patients correctly and apply markers and shielding as needed
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies and restock life-support equipment
• Organize daily workflows to meet timeframes and support department flow
• Maintain compliance and assist with charging/clerical tasks

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
