Wellstar in Georgia seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT exams and other imaging procedures. You will ensure patient safety, maintain imaging quality, and follow procedures to support accurate diagnoses. Requires ARRT CT, ARRT Radiography, and BLS certification, with at least 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

Required: Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology.
ARRT-R certification for Radiography required.
ARRT-CT certification for CT required.
BLS certification required (Basic Life Support).
BLS Instructor certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Verifies clinician order for procedures and obtains patient history.
Administers contrast according to protocol and ensure patient safety.
Operates CT and radiography equipment with proper positioning.
Ensures patient identification, privacy, and comfort; maintains sterile technique.
Reviews images and ensures quality before radiologist review.
Maintains equipment and assists with departmental quality control.
